 Plum
Orchard Lake. Near Oak Hill in Fayette County, Plum Orchard Lake
is part of the 3,201 acre Plum Orchard Lake WMA. Much of the upper
end of the lake is covered in Lily Pads. |
 Dunloup
Creek Waterfall. This often photographed waterfall is located on
Dunloup Creek in Fayette County. As far as I know, it is unnamed.
(If someone knows the name of this waterfall, please let me know.) |
 Canaan
Valley Deer. Whitetail Deer are numerous in Canaan Valley State
Park in Tucker County. Due to the number or tourists and lack of
hunting within the park, the deer, while not tame, are somewhat tolerant
of people, making it a good place to view and photograph them. |
 Reflections,
Canaan Valley. A beautiful sky reflected in the North Branch of

 Blackwater
Canyon, Leaves on Rock. This part of the Blackwater Canyon is
located in Blackwater Falls State Park in Tucker County. |
 Barn
and Road. This peaceful rural scene is typical of what the
Mountain State offers visitors during the month of October. Near
Onoto in Pocahontas County. |
 Glade
Creek Waterfall. Located near Beckley on Glade Creek, this unnamed
waterfall created a swirling pattern with the floating leaves in the
pool at the base of the falls. |
